Client : A leading Dutch banking software products firm

The client is a leading European banking products firm. Its flagship product “Quaestor”, a comprehensive banking solution encompassing Private, Retail, Corporate segments and the Securities module, has been implemented in a couple of banks in the Netherlands, besides sites in other existing and emerging markets in Europe and Asia. The product is developed using the component-based, full life-cycle integrated development tool COOL:Gen.

The All-Media Banking project was aimed at providing e-business solutions for banks and their customers. The project consisted of building two major products, the portal and the gateway. The portal handles C2B (Customer to Business channels). The gateway handles inter-components interfaces as well as the B2B and B2C channels. A customer has provisions to buy/sell securities and transact through his account, confirm/cancel the order, view the portfolio overview and retrieve other reports. VAST consultants were involved in designing and developing the front end of the system.
