The client is a leading multinational chemicals manufacturing giant based in Germany, ranked among the first Fortune 50 compa-nies and having its operations in numerous countries world-wide. Their Indian subsidiary with its headquarters in Mumbai, is among the oldest chemicals manufacturing companies in India. Its main areas of operation are pharmaceuticals and Industrial chemicals.

The firm embarked on a major information technology drive, to help support its continuing growth and thus provide value added products and services to its customers. VAST undertook the turnkey requirements analysis, development and implementation of the new Human Resource Management System for the client.

The system caters to the information processing needs related to Human Resources Management and supports functions such as Personnel Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Employee and Industrial relations Management, Training and Development, Human Resources planning, Occupational Health and Safety and Payroll management.
