The client is among the leading pizza chain restaurants in
South India. It has a number of franchisees, who own local
responsibility for sales & inventory management and a
centralized warehouse to cater to the inventory needs. To
target niche markets efficiently, each branch is tasked with
maintaining inventory that is best suited to the local market
(sales activities). Furthermore, to keep up with changing
consumer tastes, there is a need to provide a common information
base. Towards this end, the client decided to automate its
business activities to have a common sales-inventory tracking
system across all its franchisees.
VAST
undertook the development & implementation of:
Sales, billing and inventory operations catering to the client’s
warehouse and branch requirements.
Consolidating information at the branches and exporting the
same to the Head Office for analysis.
The
project captures and keeps track of day-to-day sales, billing
and inventory operations. Processes have been built for day-end/month-end/
year-end activities, consolidated sales transactions by day/week/month/year,
and export the same from respective branches to Head Office.
