The client is a leading multinational chemicals manufacturing
giant based in Germany, ranked among the first Fortune 50
compa-nies and having its operations in numerous countries
world-wide.
The aim of this project was to develop a common strategic
marketing information system for senior management worldwide.
The information from various sources were being collected
through various forms such as telexes, papers, faxes etc.
This information to be gathered was brought into a standardized
format. All data collected were mainly split into a few categories
- market wise, product wise and sales wise. Data collected
could be rearranged as required for comparative research purposes
such as quarter wise performance, Quarter to previous quarter
performance etc. This information can be gathered from several
locations and consolidated in a centralized location, thus
helping the senior management to take more effective and faster
decisions.
