Client : A leading Dutch banking software products firm

The client is a leading European banking products firm. Its flagship product “Quaestor”, a comprehensive banking solution encompassing Private, Retail, Corporate segments and the Securities module, has already been implemented in a couple of banks in the Netherlands, besides sites in other existing and emerging markets in Europe and Asia. The product is developed using the component-based, full life-cycle integrated development tool COOL:Gen from Computer Associates.

VAST’s consultants were involved in implementing Quaestor using COOL:Gen for clients based in the Netherlands and Turkey.

Responsibilities included:

Customization and Testing of the relevant modules of the product and other interfacing modules to bring out a comprehensive customization test report
Finding the origin of errors in the application
Undertaking error fixes in the COOL:Gen environment
Carrying out testing of the application after the error fixing
Implementation of the product.
