Description The client has a full-fledged Legal Department operating out of its corporate office in Mumbai to track the legal aspects of its investment and lending operations. It has legal counsels posted at its six zonal offices spread over the country. The task of automating the legal department’s day-to-day operations was contracted to VAST.

The salient Features of the assignment included standardization of text-based documents (used for mortgage, charge- creation etc.), facilitation of follow-up on redemption, extension, consents etc, log of all documents maintained manually using registers and interfaces to a public domain legal information database.
