The representatives of our customer Ford presented WITTE Automotive Bulgaria with the Q1 Award in a special ceremony on 09/28/2016 and WITTE Stromberg on 11/29/2016. The award is one of the highest honors for overall performance, which the American car manufacturer presents to its suppliers.
Five high-ranking representatives of Ford traveled to the ceremonial presentation in Ruse, Bulgaria and also in Stromberg, Germany. Among them, Mr. Tobias Gilles (STA, Senior Site Manager Exterior) and Mr. Edward Brock (STA, Commodity Manager European Operations). „WITTE Automotive deserves the Q1 status, thanks to its high product quality, good delivery performance and excellent quality management,” Mr. Gilles emphasized in his speech.
Both WITTE plants thanked the Ford Motor Company for the close cooperation and the award, and congratulated their coworkers on their great success. They promised that WITTE Automotive sees the award as the beginning of a joint journey with the destination of quality improvement. “For us, this award represents the responsibility and the incentive to further improve. Step by step, and always one idea ahead, just like we know it,” as Mr. Martin Rothmann, Managing Director of WITTE Stromberg, put it.
After raising the Q1 flag, the celebration climaxed in Bulgaria in a “Q1 flashmop” and in Stromberg in the presentation of a flaming Q1 by a fire performer at the end of his Show.
