(June 13, 2024) WITTE Automotive - and so the VAST Automotive Group - is further expanding. In Ostrov near Karlovy Vary (CZ), construction has begun on the new Panattoni Park Ostrov South industrial park with an area of over 65,000 square meters.
WITTE Automotive will rent the hall being built there. The developer of the project is Panattoni, while the investor and owner of the hall, which is scheduled for completion in 2025, is the Accolade investment group.
For WITTE Automotive Czechia, this new manufacturing facility marks the company's third branch in the Czech Republic. The company already has a presence in nearby Nejdek and another in Ostrov, close to the new site. The German-origin firm, which focuses on system solutions for car doors, hoods, and seats, currently employs over 2,000 people in the Czech Republic, making it the second-largest employer in the Karlovy Vary region. Crucially, key roles in product development and manufacturing are centralized directly in the Czech Republic.
