ADAC Automotive opened a new paint facility

adac_grand openingOn Wednesday, 24th July, 2013, Governor Rick Snyder and Jim Teets, ADAC´s president and CEO,officially cut the ribbon opening herewith ADAC´s state-of-art paint plant

in Muskegon, Michigan.

The new and innovative robotic paint system enables our alliance partner to paint thousands of body-color exterior components produced for Ford Motor Company, Fiat-Chrysler, General Motors, Honda, Volkswagen and other car manufacturers.

ADAC invested 18 million US dollars into the latest 72,000 square foot paint facility – it is the biggest capital investment in the company´s 38-year history. It will allow ADAC to continue to meet high quality and capacity needs of its customers.
„We have a great relationship with the Muskegon community,”said Jim Teets in his inauguration speech. „We continue to be a West Michigan based company that is dedicated to the needs of our customers and employees. We intend to continue as a leader in the design and manufacture of products and processes that will allow us to excel as a global supplier, while creating and retaining jobs in West Michigan.” ADAC is
the second biggest employer in Muskegon.
