(09/18/2017) “FUTURE NOW” – this was the slogan of this year’s IAA in Frankfurt. Therefore, the international VAST Automotive Group, the strategic alliance between the automotive suppliers WITTE Automotive, STRATTEC and ADAC Automotive, presented their latest developments for the cars of the future there from September 12 to 15, 2017.
VAST impressed the trade visitors with sophisticated product developments that combines mechanics, electrics and electronics in a unique way. “We succeeded in developing innovative solutions for our customers, for example for new vehicle protection systems”, emphasizes Frank Krejci, VAST Chairman and STRATTEC CEO. At the same time, we succeeded in underlining the customer benefits of our global collaboration.
As a technology leader in the field of mechatronics, VAST presented products at the world’s most important mobility trade fair that will make the vehicles of tomorrow even more comfortable and safer: innovative actuators provide optimum support for driver assistance systems, the intelligent power sliding door meets the highest standards and can be controlled with gesture, language or also preloaded FOB, the so-called memory key. The electronic seat back latches offer a new level of comfort and more design freedom and the patented door protect system that is also used conceptually in the tailgate area and prevents collisions when exiting the vehicle. “Our customers were impressed by the variety and high degree of innovation offered by our system solutions for hoods and tailgates, doors, interior systems and seating systems”, sums up Christian Kaczmarczyk, member of the VAST Board of Directors and WITTE Automotive CEO. “We look forward to not just experiencing the automotive future – instead we will have a hand in shaping it.”
