STRATTEC SECURITY CORPORATION (STRATTEC), manufacturers of power access systems used in vehicles, has won an Automotive News PACE Award for their new Invis-A-Rise® Power Liftgate, an Overhead Spindle Power Liftgate for 2018 Honda Odyssey.The Company’s Invis-A-Rise® Power Liftgate was selected from 33 total innovations presented from 27 component and technology suppliers from around the world. An independent panel of judges reviewed applications from automotive companies from countries the world over. Now in its 24th year, the Automotive News PACE Award is a prestigious recognition of the innovation, technological advancements and hard work of automotive companies. The 15 PACE Awards were presented on April 9 at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit to a total of 14 winners.

STRATTEC has more than 25 years of experience in latch systems, electronic
control modules and drive units for original equipment automotive manufacturers. More than four years of development work and corporate investment went into creating the Company’s Invis-A-Rise® Power Liftgate, a product which aligns with the Company’s other power product offerings, including power sliding doors, power decklids on trunks and power end gates. STRATTEC works in conjunction with original equipment manufacturers to integrate its technology into new vehicles.
