The Volkswagen Group awards particularly innovative and reliable suppliers. WITTE Automotive convinces through the overall performance of the company.
WITTE Automotive ranks among 21 best suppliers of the Volkswagen Group, which invited for yesterday ́s gala ceremony “Group Award 2013” more than 150 companies and managers from international suppliers industry to the Transparent factory ("Glaeserne Manufactur") in Dresden.
There the executive director of WITTE Mr. Rainer Gölz was presented with the Volkswagen Group Award by Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, chairman of the board of directors of Volkswagen company, and Dr. Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz, member of the board of directors of the Volkswagen company responsible for purchase. „I am very pleased to be awarded with this prize; thanks to this award I am again really proud of the whole WITTE Automotive team“, says Rainer Gölz. “The Volkswagen Group Award 2013 is of immense significance to us. The Volkswagen Group hereby honors the tireless efforts of all the WITTE staff to fulfil the wishes and goals of our customers.” The Group Award is an award given by the Volkswagen Group for the overall performance of supplying companies. The awarded companies meet high requirements of the group in the field of development, product quality, competitiveness and project management.
“The Volkswagen Group and its suppliers create a strong and global team”, emphasized Winterkorn, who among others underlined know-how of suppliers in his speech. The companies awarded this year were able to convince especially thanks to their extraordinary flexibility and quick reaction times for example in the periods of culminating demand. “Together we successfully coped with immense challenges within previous months. Your work, your commitment and your performance have significantly contributed to this achievement”, praised Garcia Sanz partner companies.
